Ruth C. Cohn (1912-2010) The life and work of a courageous woman

From October 20-22, 2022, ourInternational Symposium “Ruth C. Cohn (1912-2010) Life and Work of a Courageous Woman” took place at the Humboldt University in Berlin on the occasion of the opening of her estate.

Since 2016, Michaela and Matthias Scharer have spent countless hours of voluntary work processing, scanning, registering and cataloging Ruth C. Cohn’s extensive estate. It is now accessible for further research in the archive of the Humboldt University of Berlin.

We were able to honor the completion of this enormous achievement at this international symposium on the Ruth C. Cohn estate with lectures, workshops and the presentation of the “Findbuch”.

We – the RCI international and the TCI community – are delighted to congratulate Michaela and Matthias Scharer and thank them from the bottom of our hearts!

Many thanks also go to the organizing team, whose extraordinary commitment made this symposium possible:
Brigitte Mazohl (director) / Gesa Bertels / Marie-Luise Fahr / Kristin Fumagalli /
Kathrin Giogoli / Hansfried Nickel / Antonia Restemeier / Matthias Scharer.

And we would like to thank everyone who contributed to making it a successful, inspiring and lively event!
